All four squares in this post came from 50 Fabulous Crochet Squares. I'm almost through with the book, as I've been working my way through, pretty much. This square turned out to be a 12 incher, and would have been even bigger if I had done the last row as doubles instead of the singles I changed it to.

I didn't think I was going to like this square, and almost skipped it. I do like it, though! And I think it's likely I'll use this ruffling technique on something or other. I'm picturing a spiral...
A 8 inch square, more or less.

A six inch square that worked up quickly and would be great for a baby blanket I'm thinking.

I had trouble with this square. I read and reread the instructions, and one of the rows simply did not work out right. I had to change a lot and at least it came out more or less square, but all in all, not a square I'm really happy with. The variegated yarn doesn't really do it for me either, but it's looking better to me now than it did when I finished it. We shall see...
Great squares. I'm so enjoying watching your progress. Do you know of any other bloggers that are doing this challenge?
